Star vs the forces of Evil:

I recently got into this show after watching season 3 first near the end and had to simply ask now that I am starting from S1E1, was Starco planned as a thing since the start because even with S3 it seems like it was intended to be shown to the viewers as the endgame since the very start. Even the skateboard girl who shows up in the second episode as Marcos crush seems like the relationship is utterly doomed. Since at the end of the episode Star says after Marco and Skategirl talking "I am better at matchmaking than I am at magic" and then she fucks up a spell foreshadowing the death of it from the start.
