Smugglers Run carries more people than anything in the park other than Star Tours. It’s basically a second tier attraction in terms of capacity, behind only super people eaters like Pirates or Spaceship Earth.
On top of that — unlike Pirates — it NEVER goes down. Since it’s 30 different simulators in one building, it takes something like a power loss to close the whole ride. And when it does lose a simulator, it’s usually very easy to recover. Hell, even evacuating is fast.
The result is a very efficient attraction with EXTREME reliability. On top of that, it has no FastPass, and has a single rider line.
It shouldn’t have a terribly long line, and the queue should hold a lot of people. If it had a long line, you’d be doing something wrong.
