Just a shame that lots of people won't even give it a chance, will blatantly lie about it or shit on it whole sale without even discussion any of the actual in-show contents.
Or that there is no guarantee that the potential will ever actually be fulfilled.
All that
lore in regards to Eternia is actually really cool. And the show doesn't beat you over the head with it either.
All that stuff about Etheria having no stars, the previous She-Ra sealing Etheria in Despondos. Adora having memories of stars in the night sky even though no one else in Ehteria does. And Shadow Weaver as a high class sorceress being capable of opening dimensional rifts through Despondos. And the first ones being established as old Eternian explorers that landed on Etheria before it was sealed. It's neat stuff.
Neat enough for me to actually want to see what they could do with the rights to He-Man. Though then again She-Ra is still somewhat distinctly aimed at girls even though boys no doubt can enjoy it too. But that still makes me unsure of how that could work with He-Man. Because I am assuming He-Man should naturally target boys more than girls. Flipping it.
Though I guess they could do that simply by focusing more on an overarching plot more so than overarching character developments. Combined with an at least somewhat higher focus on fights. Perhaps?
For what plot She-Ra has I guess they actually could do a good plot for He-Man. The combat of She-Ra while mostly serviceable hasn't been the best though, but perhaps that could improve if it was more of a core focus during the development process?
I don't know. She-Ra certainly has its fair share of genuine flaws and is far from flawless. But I still can't help but think of it as very competent. Especially in the wake of numerous cartoons from the last few years that I'd argue haven't been so much competent at all.
