That's not the problem. She's way too out-of-focus when it comes to romantic matters and her relationship with Fuutaro and its development, that is way, way too stationary. Storytelling-wise, it's terrible. Miku and Nino both had a crapton of chapters about this over time. Yotsuba had next to nothing. 3 hints would not change this.
Yotsuba is a good and cute one and I would support her if her winning wasn't at risk of killing the story, but the only way for her to somewhat win in a satisfying way would be to have the next 40 chapters about her, and that's absolutely never going to to happen.
