Kenzan is great.>society of light
What about it?>the sudden edgy turn in Season 3
The duel with Saiou set up for that in advance, and beyond the edgy shift itself, there's nothing actually wrong with the darker tone in the second half of GX.>literal who characters getting far more spotlight instead of characters introduced from the start
Excluding Amon and his bloated subplot, the transfer students are all decent characters in their own right. While it's a shame that say, Fubuki, didn't get more focus, the show was hardly doing anything with him anyways.>Bastion literally getting scrapped out of nowhere
Misawa is actually a fairly significant character in the first half of S3, problem being that the staff was indecisive and kept him around for the second half without actually wanting to do more with his character, instead of either keeping him in focus or retiring him like Hayato.
But again, while this is one of GX's recurring faults with figuring out how to manage its cast, Misawa getting the shaft in particular isn't exactly a huge tragedy of the show.>Manjoume turns evil multiple times
Manjoume was brainwashed in S2 in order to establish Saiou's character, and he spends half the season making up for it anyways. In S3, he shouldn't be singled out in particular for this, because the vast majority of the available cast ends up as zombies.
