When you start a family, for example, it is important that the man is able to provide security. A self-sufficient woman will not easily settle for anyone who doesn't earn at all. For some women in the poorer regions however, they seek out men who are capable of supporting himself because they are the ideal partner. They will not settle for a man who has no job because life is already difficult for them as it is and can't afford additional mouths to feed.
