It's so unfair, anon! When she was in a dark place and feeling really lonely, none of these people were there for her. Some of them were even actively excluding, avoiding, or ridiculing her. Only now, when she is normalized and popular, they are starting to consider approaching her. Which is ironic, because that's exactly, what usually happens in real life. I'd expect at least some spite from Tomoko toward her past tormentors, but it's just handwawed, like she is a different person now. I'm really looking forward to the new seating, because I suspect, that this will be addressed in some form. Otherwise, it would soon become an insult to Tomoko, or anyone who has dealt with similar situations.
