That is good for you, but it doesn't suit with the overall definition for an asspull.
If there is foreshadowing, it is by per se not an asspull. Not that there was any notable foreshadowing of Nanika's existence or ability. My point is that the lack of foreshadowing for Nanika is fine, because foreshadowing for foreshadowing's sake is a sign of poor writing.
As for Alluka, now that Nanika is confirmed to be Ai, I find it a genius move by Togashi to introduce a plot device to resolve the mess of the previous arc that is also a teaser for the next arc.
Also, Ai is basically a walking list of consequences. I believe there are still caveats left to explore, especially since there seems to be more than one Ai in the Dark Continent. None of the Ai but Nanika is at Killua's "disposal." But Togashi did his best to neuter the OP-ness of Nanika by upping the ante with the Dark Continent.
