Ainz suffers on many fronts.
First, he can't act naturally, he has to act like an all-knowing evil leader in front of his subordinates, because he's actually afraid of them.
Second, he's become an undead, dulling his emotions and resistance towards doing evil.
Third, he is afraid to really take charge and tell his subordinates what to do; Ainz Ooal Gown was just a game in the past, he was the guild leader, sure, but everybody basically agreed on stuff. He only gives general orders, and leaves the problem of getting it done to his subordinates, because acting bossy makes him more believable. And they're mostly evil, so naturally, they do some pretty evil shit while following his orders. Ainz doesn't bother to try confronting this behavior unless it is directly detrimental to his long term plans.
