Gets overwanked by people that hate the anime
And every moment is way way less climactic, its anti-climax at the end of each fight. Plus the author likes to tone down characters that are stronger than Saiyans, and pump up his favorites.
We all knew exactly what the manga was by the end of the Universe 6 vs 7 arc. "Hit you're actually way weaker than Vegeta, if he didn't nerf himself then he'd beat you easily", followed by a fight that was way more anticlimax, all of Hit's abilities were gimped because "Muh saiyans", and no part of it felt interesting anymore.
Meanwhile the anime, Hit was someone to surpass, fans loved him because he was cool and strong, which is why fans wanted to see more of him and why they felt something when Jiren beat him. Hit in the manga had no impact at all, because the author wanted to fuck him over.
The Hit arc is only one example of those, that's just how the manga is. The universe tournament arc later on for example, everyone basically gets beaten in one panel and doesn't matter, and Goku could beat them all at the same time and Jiren isn't impressive at all and Kale is the strongest except Gohan can beat her somehow. In the anime they all fucking mattered briefly, in the manga no one matters except Goku and a few others, so there's no damn weight to any of the victories. The fucking Zamus arc as well was a damn anti-climax in the manga.
