I guess it depends on what "accept" really means here. It was clearly the episode with the worst reception, so a lot of people hate it. It largely ruined the show for me, though with better execution and more time on Hir02 it might've been something I could've lived with.>>175921025
The ending burned through several core themes, I don't think that's fine at all. It feels like they wanted to make some grandiose statement with the ending rather than simply making an ending which fit the story and letting the whole story speak for itself. I think that's a mistake in stories in general, though it's especially bad here since quite a few parts of the journey were very powerful and have ended up diminished and inconclusive due to the ending calling their message into question.>>175921071
That might help, but it seems pretty clear that this was where the story was supposed to end. I doubt we'll ever see something like that.
