I'd be disappointed at having an autistic daughter. I would expect more from both my own genes and the genes of the 10/10 woman who birthed Violet. At the same time, I would be consoled by the fact that it appears to be purely mental and a nonvisible disability. Something I don't have to worry about people noticing while I walk her around town. I would also be glad to see that she could still do stuff like typing, because then I know she could get a job and live an independent life. I would, however, be deeply concerned about some punk taking advantage of her. Her supernatural combative abilities and murderous reaction to attempted rape do go some way to alleviate those concerns, however.
