Well if we trace the Abrahamic got back through the pantheons of Greek, Egyptian, Shumer and Accad what we would get is an otherwordly leader of slightly bigger, stronger, smarter and far more technologically advanced humanoid entities with a bunch of local deputies under the leadership of two of his sons (Enki\Enlin, Thor\Loki, Osiris\Set etc).
Ultimately IRL monarchy claimed to be descendant of these "Gods" as an argument to hold power over commoners for many generations.
TL;DR: Abrahamic "God" falls under the first category for me too.>>151361785>Anything and anyone can be your God if you wanted it to be.
Nah, that would be creating idols.
Same as a bunch of people flocking together to crowdfund an iconic identity then worship it for the sake of unity and communal security.
Regardless if it's based on something historic or completely fictional.
I'd rather adopt the approach that by imperfect nature of world and humans - mortals can't actually ever understand "God", but that doesn't mean that trying won't be beneficial.
