I used to be one of the REEEEEEEEE THIS SUX REEEEEEE, to be honest.
Then I realized there wasn't any point in having any emotional stock in it at all, negative or otherwise. As much as it's getting shilled, Tabata isn't trying to make it seem better and deeper than it actually is. It's a generic fantasy shonen for little boys ages 6-to-11. Most of them are too dumb to get actual subtlety.
I'm sure a bunch of us burgers watched the Justice Friends as kids and loved it. But if you go back and watch it as an adult, it just sucks. But there's no point in hating on it since it's a children's cartoon and never tried to pretend it wasn't.
I started reading it because it was a new manga in Jump. I'm still reading it because it takes like 5 minutes to get through a chapter and it's fun to laugh at once in awhile. It's nothing special, but outright hating it is just a waste of energy.
