First and foremost, we're talking about the animation, not the staff. Don't deflect that.
There's a time and a place. Just because people find the The Room to be highly enjoyable does not make it good in the slightest. If I was looking for something to use the source material for comedic effect rather than an adaptation, I would watch a parody. Even if we take into account that the animation is supposed to be over the top, there are still more effective ways of accomplishing that, some of which are posted in this thread.
The animation fails to fulfill it's purpose just like The Room fails to understand theming. It fails to respect how force works just as The Room fails to make convincing characters. The set is a nonsensical catastrophe of giant blocks just as The Room fails to have a coherent plot and also spoons. It's one thing to have a style and another to ignore the principles of animation.
